Feeling a bit overwhelmed? Too many To Dos on your list?
Would you like some help getting them done? But don’t want to ask for help from friends or family?
I have a solution for you! 
It’s called The Universe To Do List.
This exercise is super simple yet SO powerful. Here’s how it works:
- Take out a piece of paper.
- Draw a line down the center.
- At the top of the page, write “Me” on one side, “Universe” on the other.
- Make a list of all your To Dos, putting some in the “Me” section.
- Delegate as many To Dos as you can to the “Universe” side of the page.
Sound CrAzY? Try it anyway.
The Universe is here to support you and assist you. When you intentionally ask for help, you’ll be AMAZED at how much the Universe conspires in your favor to get things done for you.
You just need to ask (not beg) and know that it will be taken care of somehow, some way.
HOW it happens or the WAY it happens is NONE of your business to figure out. That’s the Universe’s job once you hand the task over.
Think of it this way.
You don’t place an order on Amazon and then tell them exactly how to pack it, what size or shape of box to pack it in, which kind of packing material to use, what brand and color tape to use to seal the box, where to place the labels on the box, or which shipping company to use (if you didn’t select that option).
You clicked “place your order,” didn’t think twice about all the details, and expected it would arrive.
And when the order didn’t arrive at your door 20 minutes later, you didn’t go back on Amazon and place a new order or contact customer service to ask where your order was. You trusted and KNEW it would be sent to you.
That trusting and knowing is the same trusting and knowing you need to have with the Universe.
When you trust and know it will be taken care of, you let go and simply know it will be done; then it will be taken care of for you.
When you constantly check back and notice it’s not done yet and wonder when it will show up—that is you NOT TRUSTING the Universe.
Think about a person in your life who almost ALWAYS does what they say they are going to do when they say they will get it done. You KNOW they will get it done because they always have.
You trust them to do it and then you let go and don’t think about it again.
You don’t call them back after they’ve agreed to do it to discuss it with them and ask them to do it.
You don’t call them daily to check on the status.
You TRUST they will get it done when they agreed to get it done.
That’s exactly what you need to do with the Universe. Let it go and trust. Stop checking up!
One way to help you to stop checking up is anytime you think about an item on the Universe’s list, instead of wondering where it is and when it will be completed, think about how great it will be when it arrives. Feel the excitement of receiving it.
It really is simple. Free, even!
So hurry up and grab a piece of paper and make your list already.
