I had just finished a 2-day EFT/Tapping Money Mindfulness Mastery workshop and was walking out wearing open-toed sandals and I bet you know what happened next…a classmate stepped on my baby toe. Ouch!!
You know when you step on someone’s toe or foot – you feel it and quickly step off?
Well, that didn’t happen.
She didn’t move off my toe until I let out a squeal because it hurt so badly. She then stepped off my toe, apologized profusely and said, “I am so sorry – I felt that.”
I said, “I did, too.”
Since we were at a tapping workshop and I was standing next to the instructor she said, “Tap.”
We started tapping and tapping and tapping. Not really saying anything while tapping – I didn’t really need to – I felt the pain and was very focused on it. As we were tapping I could literally feel the pain subside from my baby toe. We tapped for maybe 5 minutes total until my toe was completely pain free.
I was amazed! I had no idea that EFT/Tapping could instantly take away pain like that!
So of course, being the curious person I am, I had to test it over the next several days.
You know how you’ve hurt your toe and the pain subsides where it’s easy to walk again, but then you bump your toe and the pain comes rushing back?
That didn’t happen.
I purposely bumped my toe against objects for the next several days to see if it would hurt. I bumped my toe up against a chair, table legs, and even a wall. There was no pain. Nothing. No pain at all.
It didn’t. It didn’t ever hurt again.
Once again – I was amazed at the power of EFT/Tapping!
Since then, I’ve used tapping on other pain emergencies. When a charlie horse in my calf woke me up in the middle of the night, I tapped until it went away.
When I whacked my funny bone – which never really is funny – I tapped until the pain went away.
The uses of EFT/Tapping are endless.
Remember this toe tapping story so you can use tapping to relieve your next pain emergency.
Here are the tapping points.
Just start tapping. No specific words are need when tapping in pain emergencies. Just notice the pain and keep tapping until the pain completely subsides. It may take 5-10 minutes. Just keep tapping.
