As summer is coming to a close you realize you weren’t as active as you wanted to be and then over-indulged yourself at the State Fair with greasy and sweet food on a stick. Now you want to get yourself back on track with eating well. You’re having a hard time resisting all the sweets, treats and goodies that you really want to stop eating. You know the holidays are just around the corner… and you’re frustrated you keep eating mindlessly or out of habit despite wanting to make changes.
Often after you indulge, you get upset with yourself for having eaten all that food.
Sometimes you feel like you get a craving just by looking at the food or seeing everyone else eating.
Sometimes eating is just automatic. We often do automatic eating because we are stuffing a feeling. It often can be stress. It can be good stress or bad stress.
And other times – you feel like you can’t stop yourself from eating. You stop at the convenient store to pick up your favorite treat. The craving was so strong – you literally couldn’t resist it.

To reduce food and sugar cravings we use a technique called the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT (aka Tapping) is a simple, easy, and fast way to help reduce cravings.
